How We Help

Reclaiming Justice

"I may not be successful in life for anything, but I was successful in looking after these boys. This is one thing I feel I am content with, that God blessed me to do." Justus Miwanda, Country Director, Uganda

The only way to liberate communities who have no defense against injustice, abject poverty and abuse is to empower them with the knowledge and tools they need to transform their current situation of hopelessness and tragedy to one of sustainability and peace.

This transformation takes place by linking Christian leaders in the developed and developing world in a working relationship. Through this relationship, Canadians are able to work closely with community and church leaders in remote communities, helping them identify the core needs of their community. Once the core needs of each community are identified, we provide the foundational funding, training, resources and tools needed to empower children, women and men to be leaders of change within their community.

In addition to securing hope through spiritual support, we also provide programs like child sponsorship, community development and discipleship training and in times of crisis we mobilize our resources and partnerships to provide effective and immediate emergency relief.
